 Great ways you can help Hearts for Hospice

Donate Items  
All donations must be in good, clean condition and are subject to confirmation.
Donated items will be sold in our resale shop or warehouse whenever possible.  
If we are unable to sell donated items, we pass them on to other local non-profit agencies as appropriate.

Accepted Household Items:
High-quality furniture (not particle board), gently used clothing, linens
Kitchen items in working condition, dishes + sets, small appliances, housewares
Books, art, toys, collectibles, jewelry, small working clocks + radios
 
Accepted Medical Beds 
Electrical hospital beds and hospital bed mattresses
Accepted Medical items if working, complete, clean:
Ice machines, electric scooters, lifts, recliners
Oxygen concentrators or Inogens, unopened oxygen tubing
Colostomy/ileostomy/wound care supplies, braces

Items we cannot accept
Large desks, office furniture, file cabinets
Beds/frames/mattresses (other than hospital)
Particle board furniture 
Appliances/Electronics/Ceiling light fixtures
Anything electrical with frayed or broken wires
 
Medical items we cannot accept:
Power chairs, soiled chair cushions, braces, walking booties

To donate these items, text Cardiostart International 541-852-3529:
Feeding tube machines/bags (no liquid solutions)
Kidney dialysis supplies (no liquid solutions)
CPAP equipment, accessory items
Tracheostomy items/supplies


How, when and where to donate:
Small donations (2-3 grocery bags) can be dropped off at the Resale shop, 444 Main St. Springfield during our regular business hours, Wednesday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm.  

Large donations and all medical equipment must be dropped off at our Warehouse, 177 S 14th St., Springfield during these times:
  • Tuesdays, 10am-1pm
  • Thursdays, 12-3pm
Please be prepared to personally unload your donation at either location.
