Our featured artist for the April Downtown Springfield Art Walk is Gene Hall. Stop in to Hearts for Hospice the evening of Friday April 10th to see some of Gene's beautiful work.
About the Artist Gene Hall resides in Eugene, Oregon. Gene’s inspirations for pieces are varied, and encompass both abstract and existential ideas as well as figurative and nature inspired pieces. Gene believes that God has put His divine spark of life in each human and that is why we seek to create each in our own way. Here's a recent article from the New York Times about communicating your wishes with your family and health care providers. Writing, signing and filing an Advanced Directive means nothing if you don't share it with those who need to know.

It's hard to believe our wonderful little shop has been open for two years this month. In that time we have donated more than $61,000 to local programs that provide our Eugene-Springfield community with direct services for patients in hospice, grief support for children and families, and education for everyone regarding end-of-life issues. Please come support our efforts.
Tickets are $15, available at the shop. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, all proceeds support Hearts for Hospice Oregon! Despite the dreary rainy day, our Warehouse sale was a great event. Thanks to everyone who turned out, especially the 30 brave souls who were there before we even opened our doors Saturday morning.
