The Hearts for Hospice Resale Shop is looking for a part-time shop manager. A successful and growing nonprofit, Hearts for Hospice raises funds to support non-medical services for hospice clients, end-of-life education and bereavement programs.

The resale shop is at 444 Main St., Springfield. A corps of committed volunteers process donations, staff the shop, provide customer service, and serve the community.
We are looking for a manager who:
Has a comprehensive understanding of the shop's purpose, policies and procedures, as well as a working knowledge of hospice services.
Supports and mentors the volunteer pool, whose purpose is to operate the resale shop compassionately, professionally and profitably.
Coordinates all aspects of merchandise management, including donations, pricing, display and inventory.
Maintains an open line of communications with all volunteers. The manager must sustain a positive working environment, managing personnel issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
Maintains a monthly volunteer schedule, providing adequate coverage for the shop during business hours.
Provides exceptional customer service and ensure that volunteers provide the same level of service.
20 hours/week; $14-17 per hour.
